Silvana Ciscato Blum, age 77, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at her home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24 from 4pm-7pm at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 25 from 10am-11am with Funeral Service at 11am all held at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Jason Pollington officiating. Interment will be held in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery.
Silvana was born on November 16, 1946 in Fontanelle Italy to Eligio and Rosa (Crestani) Ciscato. She was united in marriage to James Blum on January 18, 1969 in Bassano Del Grappa, Italy. In 1969 after they were married, they moved to Stewart Minnesota and in 1972 to Montgomery. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, canning tomatoes, reading, doing word searches, playing cards, and cheering for her sport teams- especially her grandkids events.
Silvana is survived by her husband, Jim Blum of Montgomery; daughters, Tammy Duque of Montgomery and Cindy Dorzinski of Montgomery; grandchildren, Samantha Duque, Carter Dorzinski (fiancé, Michelle Oas), Tyler Duque, and Jacob Duque; siblings, Angelina Alessi of Italy and Gabriella Ciscato of Italy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darlene Homburg of Northfield, Donna Meyer of Detroit Lakes, and David (Rebecca) Blum of Le Center; many nieces and nephews.
Silvana is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Daniela Segato; mother and father-in-law, Lillian and Oscar Blum; sister-in-law, Joanne Blum; brothers-in-law, Douglas Meyer, Otto Homburg, George Blum, and Gary Blum; niece, Caitlin Kelly; nephew, Christian Alessi.
