Donald “Donnie” William Mangan

Donald “Donnie” William Mangan, 70, of Le Center, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2024 from 4pm-7pm at the Le Center Funeral Home. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 10am with visitation one hour prior all held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center with Father Michael Barsness officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Donnie was born on April 5, 1954 in St. Peter to John and Maurine (Brinkman) Mangan. He was a 1972 graduate of McKinley High School in Le Center. Donnie was united in marriage to Carol Krenik on May 3, 1975 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center. Donnie worked for Mike Anderson Painting for 5 years and WINCO in Le Center for over 43 years. He loved watching his granddaughters' sporting events, enjoyed playing softball, throwing darts, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, watching NASCAR, and pulling pranks on friends and family.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Carol Mangan of Le Center; daughters, Amy (Adam) Farm of Chaska and Annie Mangan of Le Center; grandchildren, Katelyn, Delaney, and Lauryn Farm; brothers, Ron (Carolyn) Mangan of Le Center, Mark Mangan of Le Center, Brian Mangan of Le Center, and Brad Mangan of Mankato; niece, Emily Mangan of Le Center; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Mary and Richard Krenik; brother-in-law, Gene Krenik, and sister-in-law, Judy Miller.

Donnie's family would like to extend a special thank you to all the friends, family and neighbors who helped during Donnie's illness. A very heartfelt thank you to Central Health Care for the care, kindness and love shown to Donnie and his family.
